Learn from some of Australia’s best poets and poetry teachers in this unique four-part workshop, presented by Garron Publishing with Wakefield Press.
Held over two consecutive Sundays in Wakefield Press’s Mile End offices, this intimate workshop will give you an introduction to writing poetry with Jude Aquilina, immerse you in landscape poetry and writing about place with Rachael Mead, take you into the world of verse novels with Sharon Kernot, and show you how to edit your own poetry with Mike Ladd.
Spend two summer Sundays in the air-conditioned cool of the book-lined Wakefield Press boardroom, learning how to craft your own poetry in various forms – and how to polish your work and make it better.
Places are limited to 12 participants, and the cost is $200 for four workshops, across two full days: Sunday 10 February and Sunday 17 February 2019.
